I purchased America's Founding Documents and downloaded a few of the documents. Now the rest of the documents are no longer available and I can't delete the ones I downloaded!

In April 2016 we made a change to this product. Instead of cluttering your Cloud Library (or download account) with 36 individual titles, we collected all the documents into one book called America's Founding Documents. That explains why the individual titles are no longer showing up in your list of downloadable books. That is, they are all now included in the one book you do see.

Due to a quirk in the way some of our PocketBible programs work on certain platforms, an unfortunate side effect of this change is that you cannot delete the individual documents you have already downloaded.

The solution to the latter problem might be to locate and delete the individual LBK files (if you can find them) or to contact technical support and let us make some changes to your account to facilitate deletion of these books.

Tech Support will do the following:

  1. Change the product in your transaction to PCDFOUNDDOCCOL1. This restores the original, multi-document product into your account.
  2. Reset your download account so that this change will be recognized next time you log in.
  3. Ask you to delete all the founding documents you currently have installed, then write back to Tech Support to tell them you have done so.
  4. Change the product back to PCDFOUNDDOCCOL, which is the product that has all the documents in one book.
  5. Reset your download account again so this change will be recognized the next time you log in.
  6. Tell you that they have changed the transaction. At this time you will be able to download the single America's Founding Documents book and all should be well.

We apologize for this inconvenience. Fortunately, these kind of changes do not have to be made often.
