Features

Wuest's Word Studies in the Greek New Testament is published as 3 volumes in print. For PocketBible, we've combined these volumes into one. The first part of the book is Wuest's commentary on much of the New Testament. The second part is a collection of shorter works delving into words and phrases from the original Greek text.

Volumes 1 and 2: New Testament Commentary

These volumes present Wuest's verse-by-verse commentary on most of the New Testament, offering detailed exegesis and interpretation based on the original Greek text. Wuest's unique perspective and expertise in Greek linguistics provide clarity and insight, helping readers grasp the nuances of the New Testament's teachings.

Books included are:

  • Mark
  • Romans
  • Galatians
  • Ephesians
  • Philippians
  • Colossians
  • First Timothy

Volume 3: Word Studies

The third volume diverges from commentary to focus on specific word studies, examining key Greek terms and phrases used in the New Testament. Wuest’s word studies delve into the etymology, usage, and theological significance of these terms, offering a deeper understanding of the text’s original meaning. This volume is a treasure trove for those who wish to explore the language of the New Testament more thoroughly.
