Description

Noah and the ark makes it on everyone's list of top ten favorite Bible stories--right up there with Jonah and the whale, and David and Goliath. No biblical account has raised as many questions and has generated as much controversy as Noah and the ark. If the last book you read on Noah was in the church nursery, this book will introduce you to the rest of the story.

NOAH: The Real Story attempts to answer practical questions the average person might have about this biblical story. Was the massive ark seaworthy? Did the Flood cover the whole earth? Has the ark been found on Mount Ararat? Where can you see the ark today? These questions and more are discussed in NOAH: The Real Story.

Other books have covered just the Flood, or just one aspect of the search for Noah's ark, but this book gives you an overview of the complete story.

  1. The Noah story as told in the Bible
  2. Flood stories around the world
  3. Was the Flood global or local?
  4. How big was the ark and how was it built?
  5. How did Noah gather and take care of the animals?
  6. Modern "arkaeologists" and their search for the ark
  7. Noah goes to Hollywood; Noah in movies and television
  8. Where can you see the ark today?
  9. Noah's secret for surviving the end of the world

Filled with fascinating stories, controversial details, and thorough research, Noah: The Real Story provides answers to your questions about Noah, the Flood, the animals, the ark, and continued search.

Author Larry Stone shares the story behind his book and discusses Noah (the movie).
If you are convinced that the earth is 4.5 billion years old, you may disagree with what's in this book because I try to give flood geologists a fair hearing. On the other hand, if you are convinced that the earth is 6,000 years old, you may disagree with what's here because the findings of mainstream geology are presented. But if you want a great overview of Noah, the ark, and the Flood, this book is for you. --author Larry Stone
