Description
Circles of Seven is Volume 3 of the 4-volume Dragons in Our Midst Series. The other volumes in this series are available separately: Raising Dragons Volume 1, The Candlestone Volume 2, and Tears of a Dragon Volume 4. Or purchase all four volumes together and save.
After conquering the Candlestone, Billy Bannister and Bonnie Silver travel to England, called to complete a dangerous assignment that only the rightful heir to King Arthur's throne can accomplish. Their teacher, Professor Hamilton, believes that Billy is that heir, the son of a dragon who was transformed into a man and then adopted by Arthur.
Using their dragon traits and the wisdom they gained through their earlier adventures, Billy and Bonnie explore a multi-dimensional domain of evil. In this realm, they navigate seven perilous worlds, each one manifested in a circular plane of existence that leads them deeper into the domain of a powerful enemy.
The seventh circle holds a group of prisoners, captives of the evil mistress of the circles, and Billy has to find a way to set them free and give them new life. When tragedy strikes along the way, Billy has to face the most difficult decision of his life, whether to forsake Bonnie to rescue the prisoners or to find a way to save her, his best friend in the world.
Filled with action, danger, and suspense, Circles of Seven is sure to keep readers in their seats, following Billy and Bonnie to the exciting conclusion.
About this Series
What others are Saying
"I read Circles of Seven in less than one day, and it is beyond awesome! This series is better than anything I've ever read, including Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia. I am a very picky reader, and the Dragons in our Midst series is as close to perfect as a book can get."--Nathan Hutchinson (Age 13)
"Dante meets King Arthur? Dragons that were and dragons to be? Deception and betrayal? Circles of Seven has it all—and that's just Chapter One! Bryan Davis has done it again, not only creating a book that is as good as the predecessors--but one that surpasses them! Circles of Seven blends brilliant fiction, fascinating new mythology, Biblical truth and more plot twists than you can shake Excalibur at. The action makes this book cool, the players make it fascinating, the plot moves it and the writing of the characters make it real. Mr. Davis reaffirms his place with greats such as Tolkein and Lewis, by creating characters that you get attached to then showing them in situations that illustrate what characters based on faith can overcome--all within a story that is so riveting that you can't help but turn the pages. Before you sit down to read this book, be sure that you've got everything else taken care of--you're simply not going to want put this book down!"—Phillip Zannini (Age 44)
"This book was so exciting I had a hard time putting it down at night--there were no dull parts! Unlike most books geared toward pre-teens and teens, I found that this one inspired my faith. It showed that no matter how difficult a situation may be, God is always in control. Circles of Seven is #1 on my favorite book list!"--Eric Lebel (Age 12)
